Alongside refreshing their visual identity, LaSalle asked us to make recommendations for a strong, meaningful and flexible design system that could work across traditional and digital media. We took the letter 'L' from LaSalle as the basis for a new approach.
The twin ideas of 'Dynamic space' and 'Building blocks' talk literally about LaSalle's core business - real estate and physical entities - buildings, while from a design perspective, they manifest as a grid on which to arrange design elements and the elements themselves - the 'space' and the 'object'. The system has flexibility built into it while delivering a consistently bold visual product.
